Page 1 of FINISHED: GTA Vice City AT LAST!!

Just finished VC with 64% of the game complete. The final mission is pretty cool, but not very hard and the story ends on a cool note.

I really enjoyed this game since i bought it in Oct 02 and think its just as good (if not more of the same) as the first one.

Just wondering if anyone out there has finished it on 100%, and if so do you get any more of the story told? I know that after the last mission when you walk around alot of the people that you have met during the game phone you just to say what they think of you.

Overall £30 and 20hrs of my life well spent!!!!!!!

I`ve bought The Getaway from elephantstone for £20 and can`t wait to start playing it, even though i know its not as good as VC.

I must advise anyone out there who doesn`t own a PS2 and GTA3&GTA3:VC to go out and buy one, they are the two single most important games EVER made!! (Just my thoughts)

WE NEED TO BAN WASHU FROM THESE FORUMS AS ALL HE KEEP`S DOING IS SLAGGING OFF ELEPHANTSTONE AND TRYING TO FLOG THE GETAWAY!!

To get 100% you need to do basically everything there is to do in the game, this means all missions, all insane jumps, all secret packages, every property bought, all taxi levels, all vigilante levels, all firefighting levels, all ambulance levels, all RC levels.... you get the picture. I`m on about 80%.

As for those `extra messages` they only happen for about an hour after you finish the game, then you`re on your own and I gets pretty lonely. I have in fact, just sat in a car and listened to the radio stations at one stage, I just couldn`t be arsed to drive around any more.

And have you got the army chopper yet? muchos Funnos!!

No hav`nt got the army chopper yet, but not sure if i can be bothered. Your comments about getting pretty lonely in the game once you have finished it are how i feel, i think i`ll just put the game on from time to time 2 listen to the radio stations, Emotion FM is the BEST, lazlo SUCKS!!!

My favourite person in the game was kent paul, who do you think was the best? Best mission was driving the rock-band around in the limo from that weird transvestite bloke!!

Wasn`t Kent Paul voiced by Danny Dyer? I know the pornstar was voiced by Jenna Jameson. Woohoo!!!

I`m still nowhere near finishing the game! Just over 20% now.

I keep getting sidetracked on running people over, chopping people with chainsaws, and stabbing random cops, and slappers on street corners!!!

I love it!!!! Just love it!!!!

If you do wanna get the army chopper, you need the police uniform, then you can walk into the army base near the airport and pick it up.

I`m currently collecting all 100 hiodden packages. (i`m using a guide, I`ll admit) but it`s still taken 4 hours and I`ve still got 4 to get!!

I`m stuck

I have to rescue lance and take him to the hospital. But when we get in a car and start driving I get smashed to pieces and either blow up or lance gets killed when we try to change cars

I`m starting to find the game a bit tough!

best if you have a sniper rifle or rocket launcer and anything that has auto-aim.

Hang back from the entrance to the yard, about halfway down the narrow road. use long distance weapon of choice to take out 3 people at the gate. pick up their guns and auto-aim all the other nasty chappies with bang-bangs. If there`s a CAR nearby, use it and run over anyone you can. drive to the shed and total anyone standing nearby.

There is another shooter in a crane, but if you`re fast here, you won`t have to worry about him yet. after hitting whoever you did at the entrance, get out and run to the rear back corner. (This will stop Lance getting caught in the crossfire) auto-aim whoever else may be standing, and approach lance. at this point, the immediate danger is over, so you can relax a bit.

Once you`ve composed yourself, gently exit the shed and take out anyone that looks nasty at you. There should be a refuse truck near, this has pretty strong armour, so get into it and drive to the hospital, it`s slow going, but it`s heavy and won`t be held up by much.

That`s the method I used anyway, it took me at least 15 goes before i got it right

I just drove it, and got there on first attempt. They didn`t seem to be able to catch up with me, especially with my mad driving skills. :p

**SPOILER** (although its probably not a spoiler `cos everyone has probably done the mission, Im just crap!).
The mission where you have to plant a bomb in the shopping centre with Lance.
Its driving me mad, basically I plant the bomb ok. Run outside and then a million cop cars pile in. Even IF I manage to jump in a car, Lance wanders around like a wt[at]t and gets run over! So it`s mission over. The few times I have got the headless prat to get in my car, it`s too late to escape `cos the coppers ram me to death!!!

How the hell do I do this mission? Or shall I just go back to murdering people for the laugh!!
