As far as I can remember I played this on a Spectrum....
2 "tanks" on randomly generated "landscapes" taking turns to fire at each other - adjusting "velocity & power" each time to get closer.
It`s really a basic version of "Worms".
Name the game......

There was a similar PC version of a game like this called Scorched Earth.

There`s been various versions of this over the years accross basically all formats, hell I remember playing it at School on the BBC Micro`s!

I am sure it was just called TANK.
