The little lady indoors has asked me to get her a GBA, anyone know of anywhere selling them, or the games, for a decent price?

ToysRus shops (not their rubbish website) usually have GBA bundles including GBA, games, re-chargeable battery pack, charger, case etc at a good total price.
Trouble is you have to telephone them or visit a store to find out what is on offer.

before you buy one of the ordinary GBAs, look at the GBA with Afterburner. It`s a light you can get fitted internally and it makes a HUGE difference to the otherwise dark GBA screen.

You can buy the kit and fit it yourself if you`re good with a soldering iron, or you can buy it pre-fitted. It costs about £90 from Lik-Sang, but it`s worth it.

If you use this link:

http://r1.eu.rmi.yahoo.com/rmi/http://www.johnlewis.com/promo/Coupon.asp/rmivars%3ftarget=_top?CouponID=DDCF7B2F623E47FE8EE410B74AFBF642

you`ll get £10 off at john lewis when you spend over £20, so it works out £59 for a GBA.

Anything better than that?

Cant exactly remember the deals at Toys R Us but I`ll have a go.

All come with Star X and Hot Potato. 5 out of the 6 are between £100 and £120.

Ultimate Starter pack is £100 with the 2 games above, Purple console and you can choose one from a list of 8 other games including Mario 1 and 2, Warioland 4, Golden Sun and F-Zero. Think it comes with a Travel pack aswell... rechargable battery, AC and car adaptors, case, worm light, link cable.

3 packs come with blue console and a battery grip. Battery grip is a 12 hour rechargeable pack that clips onto the back of the GBA and acts as an extra hand hold. Personally I`m quite happy with the size of it as is.

I did have a full list but I gave it to a customer then found out that one of the others on multimedia had binned the rest!
