This may sound like a stupid question but what is a easter egg???

chocolate things you get at easter, normally with smarties or mini eggs in the middle......

too obvious? ok, an easter egg is a hidden feature/clip/whatever contained on a DVD. The first `real` waster egg was on the matrix, where if you clicked on the `red pill` on one of the bonus materials page, you got an extra video. Soem are blatantly obvious, others (like the flyer promotion stills in The Clones 2nd disc) are a little trickier to find.

Sometimes, finding the egg leads to quite an interesting feature, others (mallrats and american pie 2) make you wonder why you bothered in the first place
