Iron Maiden: Rock In Rio.

I am a lucky sod. Got in to work today saw all the bills and thought bugger it. But amoungst the pile of brown ones was a jiffy bag. With intrepeitation I opened it and a 2 disc promo only copy of Iron Maiden: Rock In Rio fell out. Strange I thought, must be a mistake and looked to see if it was ment for HMV or the like. Got the enclosed leter and behold it is for me. Aparently Sanctury Records felt that there were not enough good music DVDs on demo. Thus the disc. It`s not bad too DD an DTS soundtracks are spot on and the picture is very good to.

One of me mates is well miffed as he is an avid Maiden collector. Even down to ones like the banned and withdrawn Women In Uniform (drawing of Eddie the Maiden mascot slitting Maggi Thatchers throat)

I`m happy any way.

All the best,

Andrew.

Ps I called Henry at sanctuary to thank him for the DVDs had a bit of a chat and because I took the effort to thank him he is going to look out for some other promo rare stuff get it signed just so I can wind my mate up.

Lucky Sod ..

I have had mine preordered for months, just back from seeing them at Brixton.

Have been collecting Maiden stuff for years and have spent over £100 on maiden merchandise this week.

Would be really interested in purchasing some authographed stuff from you if you can aquire it.

Got a contact address for sanctuary?

Cheers
Steve

Sorry mate but if I do get anything (i say if because i am sure Sanctuary have more impotant things to do than look out for stuff for a scrounging get like me. Fingers crossed though.) I would not sell it on a mater of princeble (?) If I got it free and all that would it be fair to sell it for profit? plus it would sit nicly with my other Maiden stuff. Sorry.

I don`t know if the address I have is a privat one or not so once again sorry. You could try there web site. http://www.sanctuarygroup.com

Sorry I have not been of much help.

You will not be diserpionted with the DVD.

All the best,

Andrew.

It still may be worth giving some other Sevenoaks a call. They may have no use for it and may be open to offers.

All the best,

Andrew.

Just a note to say The cover you refer to with Maggie Thatcher being killed is the Sanctuary single not Women in Uniform.
P.S Any Maiden fans know about a very early cassette single of Twilight Zone. Was it a proper release or just a promo?
