Page 1 of "Coupling" series 2 release date

Does anybody know if/when series 2 of BBC2s comedy "Coupling" is to be released? Series 1 was released last September (2001) - which is the same month series 2 was being broadcast.

That program was the funniest sitcom i`d seen in yonks, and the only TV series I`ve ever bothered to buy on DVD!

I agree with you on "Coupling" I thought it was excellent.

Also "Game On" not just for Samantha Janus but because it was funny.

However, I can`t bring myself to buy these on dvd. They are full-frame and it seems such a waste of a widescreen tv.

I think tv series are best bought on video.

If you like something, don`t you owe it to yourself to get it on the best possible format? Good sound, crisp transfer, and in no danger from being worn out. Plus you`ll enjoy it better. Can you honestly say you`ll go from watching lovely DVDs to having to watch something like Coupling on VHS?!

I don`t know what Coupling DVD you`ve been looking at but mine is in full WIDESCREEN.

And if you ever have to experience VHS playback on a 36" screen you`ll know why I`m never going to pay for a VHS tape again! and it`s not my VCR because thats a top end Sony one too :o)

I`ll second that. My Coupling DVD is 16:9 anamorphic.

I`ve been trying to find the release date of series 2 aswell and it seems quite plausible that it`ll be available from September 02.

...and in addition if you haven`t already seen "Cold Feet" try it - different beat alltogether, but a classact series nonetheless.

Coupling series 2 has just started a re-run on Monday nights, BBC2, 9:30pm. Just incase anybody is interested, and missed it tonight ;o)
