US Vs. Canadian DVD`s

Manni (Mostly Harmless) posted this on Thursday, 23rd November 2000, 10:26

I normally buy US DVD`s on-line but have heard that some of the Canadian DVD`s are different.

Does anyone no which current and/or upcoming DVD`s have better Canadian versions than US ones?

Also anyone know a cheaper place to buy them on-line apart from play247, North American DVD and DVD Dynamic?

Well..I just ordered the Patriot (yep, the R1 RCE version..stick close to find out if my Aiwa handles it) from DVD.BOXOFFICE.COM after a reccomendation from that nice Robert Shepherd bloke.
(you know..the guy who occasionally reads the forums! :oÞ)

The price?

£15.95!!

THATS CHEAPER THAN ANYONE ELSE I`VE FOUND, INCLUDES POSTAGE TOO!!!

Oh, and do remember to check the DVD Reviewer news page for that top story.. you know..the first one you see... bet ya can`t guess what it is...:o)

AIWA 370 (officially) ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!

Try the Digital DVD Depot: http://www.dv-depot.com

They are based in Canada so as well as seeling all the normal R1 stuff they have a section on their site that highlights the better Canadian releases.

Also they do really good deals if you pre-order. Excellent customer service too.

Been using them on and off since 97 with no problems.
