Page 1 of Amelie - 2 Disks / 1 Disk....wish they`d make up their minds!!

Just noticed that this film (which I have been told several times to see) is out in April in single and double-disk versions (on Play). I`m sure the 2 disk version has only recently been announced so I had to cancel one and order the other today. Thought I`d warn people if they may be in the same boat and want the full monty, as it were. Only 3 quid extra so probably worth it.

Well spotted! I ordered the 1-disc one this morning, so now I`ve cancelled and ordered the 2-disc. Thank you.

No problem. Just noticed that the 2 disc version has overtaken the other in the `most popular` R2 list in Play, so I suspect the news has got around now.

Please note: Due to unforseen circumstances, this title has been withdrawn from release. The single disc version of this film will still be available from 15 April 2002. :(

Just seen this...very, very annoyed!...especially as on my account page on Play it says `Order Taken` by this item. Anyone got any idea what`s going on?

Read somewhere that the double disc hasn`t been ruled out. It may still come out at the same time as the single disc. Or it may not.

I think I might cut my losses and go for the "guaranteed" edition.

yeah, may be a good idea, although I`m still intrigued as to what order they think they`ve taken if the disks weren`t even supposed to be available until April.
