its so you can rip the film to a computer/console.
some of them are a code you use at itunes

It also has a dvd disc of the movie with the blu ray, as well as the digital copy.
The X-Men Origins Wolverine movie is also a 3 copy title.

my copy of 10,000 BC came with digital copy as well, meant I had a copy of it on my netbook.
I think you could also load it onto an ipod as well, but I don`t have one of them.
I was wondering about blu ray movies with digital copies as none of my PC`s have a blu ray drive.
