i am going to buy salems lot but not sure which version to go for the original or the newer version can anyone give me a review thnx.

The original version is a fantastic example of true horror but make sure you get the full version (R1).
The remake is also a good movie but it is more true to the book.

Buy both you won`t regret it.

The R1 is the version to get along with the R1 version of The Shining. :D

Hi
Stick to the original,I wasnt over keen on the remake.
There wasnt any of the atmosphere that the original had. :(
I bought the R2 of the original only because it had the teaser at the beginning and the recap in part 2 which the R1dosnt have.

I`m a big fan of the book and the remake is more true to the novel but i prefer the older one, very creepy and atmospheric and to be fair the `nosferatu` ripoff looks better.
