An audience with Billy Conolly - Network DVD

mc7t (Elite) posted this on Sunday, 4th February 2007, 22:14

Hi,

Just been to another site where there are a few complaints about the picture & sound quality of this dvd.

To quote "This dvd has been mastered from a damaged VHS version, with drop-outs, black & white "jerking of the picture" etc etc"

How can a company get away with this...Has anyone here got this version (This is the full unedited 90 min show - I had the 50min Granada dvd version & the quality of that release was fine)

Glad i didn`t pay £14.99 for it (:¦

Its not quite as bad as VHS but it is well below par for broadcast quality.

Apparently the 50 minute edit is the only version in perfect condition and the uncut edit only exists in this rather disappointing quality

Are you sure the £1.99 DVD is the uncut version? Doesn`t seem like it.

It says it is the cut version and the other DVD at £5.89 has cover art saying that it`s the full uncut version
