Page 1 of Jurassic Park Boxset!

i noticed that a boxset of the trilogy is coming out to coincide with the release of number three, so does anyone know if parts one and two will be the same as the previously released versions?

Dont know about the film content but apparently the boxset wont be DTS apart from JP3, although you can buy the DTS versions seperately. Go figure.......

1 and 2 will be the same as the current releases. The fourth disc will be sold separately if you don`t want to buy the first two films again.

Cant remember where I saw it but I noticed somewhere that in the US, they`ve changed the covers on the first two - they look similar to the originals used when the films were on VHS and have the usual Universal "Widescreen" banner at the top - in YELLOW.

who would want the second film,it was a complete load of crap,much better to buy first film and the third film and save some money?

i got the first one on dvd and will be getting the 3rd one when it comes out and may buy 2nd if i see it going v.cheap!

I though 1 & 2 were both good movies but confusingly both cobbled from odds and ends of the books. Spielberg`s comments about making the 2nd after Crichton read the book are obviously crap `cos there`s stuff from the LW (book) that`s in Jp (movie). Go figure.

I thought the 3rd movie was almost a TV movie especially since Crichton didn`t write it. Elly`s token bit part was a cop out.

JP3 had a stupid flying through the air to save the kid bit and the ending was as sudden as a premature ejaculation! I still liked it though. Mind you, I liked the second one as well!
