It`s got to be (surprise, surprise) "Superman Returns" or "Casino Royale" for me.

Two great comebacks... I was delighted with both (and their scores were terrific too). I think SR could possibly have done with a tad more action and "bigger ending", whereas CR pretty much nailed it I thought - so I`d probably go with "Casino Royale" by a whisker.... :)

The Prestige for me. Brilliant film with great performances all round.

Hopefully it will pick up more of an audience on DVD.

Haven`t seen Casino Royale still!!! I might go tonight after I watch Deja Vue (the lad I`m going with has already seen Casino Royale.

I`ll be quite interested in which films come up here because I`m sure there are a few that have been released that I have missed.

I`ve been quite disppointed with loads of films this year, I`m sure others will love them.

Hidden, Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada, The Proposition, Inside Man, X-Men 3 (not terrible, but still disappointing), Borat, Clerks 2.

Jesus, I am a miserable bastard aren`t I ;)

Toss up between V for Vendetta and Superman Returns for me.

Still a few I haven`t seen yet though.

Dunno.

Hidden is still a strong memory, despite being in the first quarter of the year. But I loved Superman Returns and The Departed. The New World was pretty great as well.

For me it would have to be one of United 93, Volver or Pan`s Labyrinth.
