anyone got any tips on cleaning a scratched dvd i recorded hustle which is one off my fav programs but went to watch it today and it just gets stuck i have tryed it on 5 dvd player but all the same?

Are you sure it`s scratched? If you recorded it yourself on a domestic DVD recorder it could be that you just got a bum disc. Sometimes it just happens, I`ve had it a couple of times. If it is seriously scratched so much that it isn`t playing you could get it resurfaced for a couple of quid. I`ve used these before: http://www.discz.co.uk/
...and they were very good. But my supsicion is that you just got a duff disc.

sometimes, if you gently rub the disc around the scratch, you can get very minor scratches out, but that only really works with CDs i think
