Page 1 of Godfather boxset R1 Vs. R2
DVDs & Films Forum
Hi everyone, not sure if this has been covered before, but are the R1 and R2 box sets the same? They seem to have the same stuff on them. Also, anyone got any recommendations for cheapest sites for this?
Thanks
Martin

I think I ll go with region1 it way be a £10 extra but there`s more extras!!
RE: Godfather boxset R1 Vs. R2
Are you sure R1 is better boyesy? If you look at the list of R1 extras - each extra is also listed in R2. It only looks like there are less because the R2 list has multiple extras on some lines and less descriptions. Maybe it`s too soon to panic about R2.
ahhh, see what you mean! just looked @ it more detail!!! those sneeky chaps @ play!!
Don`t forget that Play used to insist that the R1 Fight Club dvd that they sold was only 1 disc.
This from Rewind (more reliable extra listings than Play) http://www.dvdcompare.org.uk/comparisons/film_results_page.php?fid=767
RE: Godfather boxset R1 Vs. R2
I reckon the R2 is the one to get then. It`s slightly cheaper, and it`s a PAL transfer. Doesn`t sound like you`ll be disappointed either way, then. I`ve been waiting for this one for a long time...
yeah I now think I ll go with R2 as well
