RE: Terminator 2 DVD
The R1 T2 Ultimate Edition DOES have the tin slip case. I`ve got her on order from www.dvdimport.com. Looking forward to it!
RE: Godfather boxset R1 Vs. R2
I reckon the R2 is the one to get then. It`s slightly cheaper, and it`s a PAL transfer. Doesn`t sound like you`ll be disappointed either way, then. I`ve been waiting for this one for a long time...
RE: Godfather boxset R1 Vs. R2
Are you sure R1 is better boyesy? If you look at the list of R1 extras - each extra is also listed in R2. It only looks like there are less because the R2 list has multiple extras on some lines and less descriptions. Maybe it`s too soon to panic about R2.
RE: Confused about Terminator DVD
It sounds like the R1 special edition because it is the R1 special edition :-) If you look to the right of the review, the specs say R1. Oh well...
RE: Akira - limited edition tin box.
Just thought I`d add, for those of you getting desperate, that www.dc-dvd.net has copies available. I ordered mine on saturday, and got it this morning. The prices are poor (about 33 pounds for the whole thing - they have a 5% credit surcharge), but I`ve found they can get you stuff that no one else can.
Also, it`s possible that dvdboxoffice still has some. I paniced, and ordered from both DC and Boxoffice, and boxoffice`s site has reported that my order shipped before I could cancel it :-)
Good luck everybody. Gonna play it tonight, it better be worth it! :-)
