Well just got in for seeing Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and i am impressed. Very dark indeed. This was my wifes favourite book and although she really enjoyed the film she feels somewhat cheated because of the sheer amount that had to be chopped.
I myself have never read any of the books which i think helps you truly appreciate what they did manage to do with the film. The Madeye twist at the end was a big surprise to me.
Missus is piping up now saying she was gutted that the only showed Harrys Dragon fight and not a sniff of the other 3 which are apparently brilliant in the Book.
Only disapointing thing for me though was not seeing the Dursleys. They were defiantly amiss.
Over all GOF is now potentially my favouite of the 4 films but i`ll have to see it at least 2 more times to be sure.

I am being forced to see Harry Potter next friday with me lass along with Flightplan, I just hope I get hit by a bus before then. ;)

Nope!!!. and i really wasn`t amused about it either. The played King King, Narnia, Alien Autopsy and some crap with Jim Carey.
I sat up til 0200 to see the trailer online and hoped to see it this morning but alas it was not to be. It made me wonder though. GOF is a 12A, could they possibly be thinking of haveing Superman Returns as a 15?
