I saw the scream films are part of Virgin`s new 2 for £25 deal and have been thinking of getting them for a while but are the re-release anamorphic or not? I know in the R2 boxset Scream 1 is non-anamorphic but have read that Scream 1 on its own is anamorphic.
I am confused, so is anybody able to confirm or deny these allegations please.

R2 UK Boxset Scream - non-anamorphic (same as new individual release) Scream 2 - non-anamorphic (same as new individual release) Scream 3 - anamorphic R2UK loses the 4th disc that R1 had.
R4 Boxset Scream - 4:3 Pan & Scam Scream 2 - anamorphic Scream 3 - anamorphic extra 4th disc ?
The Japanese version of scream is the only anamorphic version, it`s also the only director`s cut version. It is quite a rare disc and very expensive.
I have seen some rumours that another R2 country has the anamorphic director`s cut version of scream (non Buena Vista release) but I have not been able to confirm this yet
