Horror films to take on camping holiday

leapfrog (Mostly Harmless) posted this on Thursday, 1st September 2005, 12:29

Can anyone please give me any ideas on horror films to take with me on a camping holiday to play on my portable, I think it would be quite exciting to watch something like the Blair Witch Project in the middle of a forest or in a cave (sad I know).

I also vaguely remember seeing a horror film when I was a kid about people caving, I think the last scene was a head on a beach, it must have been around the mid-eighties, anyone have any ideas what film this could be?

One film I will definitely NOT be taking is Deliverance as I plan on doing some canoeing, I think that would be a little too scary :o

Any ideas would be much appreciated.

The Aussie film `The Long Weekend` would be a good one, but it`s only available on Region 4 & Region 1.
