Just saw Team America...
Interesting...not sure whether I liked it or not... :p

I saw it a few months ago and thought it was pretty funny. It`s not as good as the South Park movie, but I`m going to check it out on the big screen next week to see how it measures up when given a proper go.
I`ve probably not laughed so hard in the cinema... well, I can`t remember.
The film is brilliant, just hits the mark 100%. It done what it sent out to do and a little bit more.

RE: Just saw Team America...
Can`t wait to see the Unrated version with the full sex scene either. ;)
Oh my God, Bear is driving! How can that be?
Hmmmm... Pearl Necklace :D
I don`t know what was the funniest part:
SPOILER:
Lease (Aids Aids Aids...)
America.... F*CK YEAH!
Suck my cock
Gary spewing in back alley
Matt Damon
Dicks, pussies and assholes
Michael Moore (only celebrity that`s actually evil :p )
Haha, surprise c*ck-fag
Pearl Harbor sucks
We need a MONTAGE
Helen Hunt sliced, Danny Glover beheaded, Susan Surandon splattered, Tim Robbins burnt to a crisp, George Clooney exploding or Alec Baldwin`s head popping (again and again and again)
Star Wars cantina scene (and later jedi mind trick)
This is not about sex Gary, it`s about trust

I was surprised at just how brilliant it was. I mean, it`s puppets, but it`s really well done, some of it was amazing. Bill Pope was the cinematographer too, didn`t expect that going in (he did the Matrix films and Spider-Man 2 to name a few). Also, Harry Gregson Williams score, obviously intentionally ironic given that he has scored quite a few Bruckheimer movies in the past.
I was laughing so much that I`m sure I missed a lot of stuff.

Dunno about you guys but in the scene where
SPOILER:
the panama canal explodes and the bodies are floating in the water
made me feel uncomfortable and the rest of the cinema went quiet too. There was definately an atmosphere.
Very funny film tho. :D
Yeah, I agree. I felt suddenly glum watching...
SPOILER:
...all the bodies floating past the camera. Not the filmmakers being insensitive or offensive though, because this film was released in October 2004.
But yeah, there was no laughing or sn*****ing by anyone during that part, which I was actually quite pleased about for some reason.

"What would you do, if someone told you to fight for freedom? Would you answer the call, or run away like a little pussy?"
SPOILER:
"I guess Pearl Harbour sucked, just a little bit more than I miss you…"

It was funny in parts and had some good morals but on the whole it did drag on for a bit too long. They should have made a feature length south park episode instead. I did feel slightly robbed and felt I would have been better of watching something like Closer It just wasnt hilarious enough. Its ok for light entertainment I guess but there are better things on.

I`m off to see it on the big screen for the first time tonight. Should be better than the crappy DivX version I saw.
