I was wondering if there is any way of sorting out a warped disc, cause my Romeo must die has been warped since i bought it , and i cant take it back because i bought it while on holiday. it will only work if it has been in the dvd player a while.

have you tried a steam iron?
if you are going to do this try it on a aol disk first to see if you can get the process right try to cover with a smooth tea towel abd be very quick
....note i havnt tried this!!! it is only a suggestion as plastic is heat manufactured and pressed but the coating and bonding could get damaged as a dvd has 2 layers ...ps if it kills the disk atleast you will reduce the chance of laser damage (if the disk hits the laser housing)
hope my info helps but if not atleast the line use a steam iron sounds funny and may give you a laugh...but sometimes the funny things people say can be true or even helpfull....baz

Don`t use a steam iron as you`ll probably delaminate the disk and kill it dead. Sandwich it between two clean pieces of cardboard, then sandwich that between two nice, heavy books. Place on the floor and stack another six to eight heavy books (or a good weight) on top and leave for a fortnight or so. This is also a great way to dry cut wild flowers ;o)

I`d echo Mark`s sentiments, but substitute "glass" for "cardboard" - it`s long been a recommended method for flattening out warped vinyl records. Cardboard isn`t really flat enough and will bend under pressure. I`ll take your word for it about the flowers ;-)
