Page 1 of Newbie -- looking for classic DVD films & Tv Series

HI, Im new to this forum so not sure if this has been asked before but was wondering if anyone knows where i could get hold of the following DVDs as they dont seem to be avaiable if not any ideas why not ???

Any help & advise greatly appreciated

Am looking for the folling dvd`s
Films:
1 ) Escape to Victory - seems to be available for Region 1 but why no region 2
2 ) Silver Streak a classic film & goes with the rest of the Gene Wilder, Richard Pryors films available

Tv Series
3 ) Soap - An American comedy fro the early 70`s (was the show which gave us billie Crystals debut)
4 ) Banacek - ganother great series - George Peppard as a private investigator

Soap Season 1 is available on Region 1 if you have a multi region player

No Banacek but I can offer the A Team(yes I know its not the same!)

Neither Escape To Victory or Silver Streak have ever been released to DVD, and the latter film is a terrible oversight. As you say, ETV is available in R1, and Silver Streak will be out Dec 14th in R1. Absolutely no sign of R2 editions, so you might want to make a trip to ASDA to get a cheap multiregion.
