It is on region 1 i think www.futureent.com have it in their cheap dvdssection
RE: Has anyone notice which BOND film hasn`t been released ?
Because it`s not an official Bond movie and MGM have nothing to do with it.
It was only made because this guy called Kevin McClory who claimed he had the rights to Thuderball. (he got a credit in that film) This explains why Never Say Never again is a complete clone of Thunderball, it was the only one he had the rights to.

Check your facts, kiddies. NSNA is being released by MGM (who now own the rights) on 23rd April. It won`t have any extras on it except possibly a theatrical trailer, but will be available at the lower price point (£15.99 on the highstreet). Casino Royale (starring Peter Sellers and David Niven) will be available the same day for the same price.
DVDStreet are preordering them for £13.99 each.

`Fraid not, Blazing.
Casino Royale`s rights were sold way ahead of the rest of the Bond canon back in the 1950`s, but nothing was done with them until they ended up in the hands of Charles K Feldman. He was responsible for "What`s New Pussycat". He originally wanted to do a straight Bond film in opposition to EON (the official Bond production company), but eventually realised spoofing the franchise would be a better proposition. The production of the movie rivals any of the great cinematic disaster stories like "Heaven`s Gate", "Cleopatra" or even "Ishtar" - five credited directors (although more than seven were actually involved), dozens of writers, including a totally out-of-control Peter Sellers (who refused to appear in any scenes opposite Orson Welles after Princess Margaret visited the set and chatted to Welles rather than him). The press tore the picture apart on its release, and Charles K Feldman never made another movie, although Deborah Kerr named her swimming pool after him because it was paid for by over-run payments.
I think it`s a classic, a real document of the times.
