Page 1 of The Star Wars Trilogy DVD Box Set Trailer - Awesome, spine tingling stuff..........

Maybe it`s just me - but I just checked out the Star Wars Trilogy Trailer on the Star Wars Hyperspace website and it rocks!

The Extras disc look amazing with interviews w/ Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill and George Lucas in shot as well as everyone else. Lots of stuff on cenceptual art as well as a sneak peak of Ep.3 "As Darth Returns" as the voiceover guy says - chills, i`ve got chills.


Unfortunately the trailer is only available to Hyperspace Members - however i`m sure the rest of you will see it soon eneough.

Roll on September 21st!

I watched it the other day and thought the same thing.The extras do look impressive.
The whole packaging & disc artwork look really good as well.

Not long to wait. The time will fly by (i hope) :)

How come they are all interviewed on the extras disk but only Carrie Fisher has been mentioned as doing the audio commentary on the films? cant the others be bothered? :/

So do I (anamorphic enhanced too, which I didn`t think was possible).
But I`m still going to be first in line to get these official DVDs because they`ll still be the best way to see the films, and not all the changes are bad. I`m more excited about this DVD boxset now than I have been for any other DVD 8)

Chewie, what are the changes going to be in the new boxset? I know of some that have been mentioned on here such as the change of the empirer In the empire strike back and the change of Anakin at the end of Return of the Jedi, but what are the others?

The so called changes are only rumours. Nothing offical has been said yet by Lucas.
I genuine believe that he won`t change the end of ROTJ. He may tinker with the Emperor scene in Empire, but i think thats all. The other changes will be tweeks to laser fire, lightsabers, sound effects ect..

We won`t know until the films released, so anything other than offical confirmation by Lucas is pure speculation & hype.

Exactly, there has been no official confirmation from George Lucas that these changes have been made to the films again, just rumours. Yet people have been very quick to slag him off yet again for making these further changes when they really don`t know the facts. Personally I never had a problem with the SE`s and I am really looking forward to getting this box set in September.
