Page 1 of Virgin selling `Kung Pow` rental disc?

Okay, so I bought `Kung Pow : Enter The Fist` in the Virgin sale on Saturday, discounted from £19.99 to £9.99. It looked okay on the sleeve - with tons of extra features......

Played the disc tonight, and it looks like it`s a rental copy! (labelled as a sell-thru) - trailers for stuff like `Shallow Hal` & `Ice Age` and a very basic menu, with few extras. (I checked on an Australian site and it confirmed my suspicions).

I`m not holding anything against Virgin, but 20th Century Fox`s quality control could do with a bit of an upgrade.

Has anyone else noticed this?

i bought meet the parents from a woolworths once and was looking forward to the extras like the commentaries - stick the disk in and there`s no sign of any extra`s at all - thought i was going mad or just missing a menu link

just ended up taking it back and getting my money back - think the bird behind the counter didn`t really understand about the extras on a dvd disk and thought i was taking the urine

so just put it down to bad luck and get your money back
