Matrix Trilogy DVD Box Set

Dave 1 (Mostly Harmless) posted this on Wednesday, 7th April 2004, 21:09

I read chewie talking about how he was waiting for the Matrix SE to be released. I have heard from my mate who works for Warner and read on a number of other sites that they are going to release a Matrix Boxset with all three films. This will either be released in time for Christmas or early next year. The trilogy is very likely to feature DTS on all three films as well as Digital Remastering (certainly on the first film), a directors cut has not been ruled out. My mate said that they had been in contact with THX in the view of having all the three films certified for the box set release along with new artwork.

Thought you might like to know.

Any world on a reloaded/revolutions film cut together with most of the junk excised? I mean now they`ve raked in the money by splitting one film in half(with way too little actual content per film) they will surely be able to release the definitive directors cut.

Warner using DTS? Thought they`d made a commitment never to use it?
