Page 1 of How many DVDs have you received in one day?

Looks like I`m about to beat my previous record of seven - so far today had email notification of seventeen discs despatched.

i had 9 delivered in one day while i was in hospital a few years back. couldnt bloody watch em though till i got out of the hospital a couple of days later.... most i have ever had through post and shopping in one day though was about 25! :D

The most I`ve received in the mail in one day is 3. The most I`ve bought in one day (in the shops) is 7.

The day after I got all home cinema`d up I bought 20 discs on Play, and had 19 of them delivered on the same day :)

I used to get 8 dvds on a regular basis back in 1999 from www.express.com until Fed Ex stung me with a customs bill for 3 packages!!! Hadn`t pat any VAT till then and didn`t even think about it til I was paying Fed around £68 to pay for my vat and that was on top of $25 per 8 dvds for shipping with tracking from L.A.


I see now that their website is unavailable.

Believe it or not I took delivery of 100 films on DVD the other day. It was actually 2 boxed sets I bought on Ebay (£17 each) called 50 Classic Horror Movies and 50 Classic Mystery Movies. There were 2 or 3 films on each side of the DVD`s so it was in effect 12 discs in each box. I had about 75% of the films in each collection already on VHS etc but it was a great way to acquire a lot of my favourite old b-movies cheaply and in a nice storage box.

Hmm, probably 3 or 4.

Bought 5 at Virgin in one go when they have their offers, but my head is obviously screwed on more tightly than you lot! (in this respect :))
