Title says it all really - hopefully the 5.1 sound will be as good as Vol 1.

I`m a HUGE Queen fan! I haven`t got this yet, but I hope the tracklist on Play is incorrect or shortened:

"The Miracle", "Breakthru", "Headlong", "Innuendo", "I`m Going Slightly Mad", and "These Are The Days Of Our Lives" are all missing?!

I really hope these are on, as the videos are great - especially "Innuendo" and "I`m Going Slightly Mad".

And "These Are The Days.." is a beautiful video - Freddie`s last, I believe (it`s really moving when he looks at the camera at the end and says "...I still love you" - it`s as though he was saying goodbye to all the fans).

Hey Hulk relax - these will contained in Volume 3... check out the official Queen website.
Has anyone actually got their copy of Vol 2 yet? I`m pretty certain mine is currently sitting in some postbox in England and I`m dying to know if the sound is as enveloping (?) as the first greatest hits... can`t wait to hear One Vision/Radio GaGa/Hammer to Fall, etc in sexy DTS 5.1... anyone, anyone? Bueller? Anyone?

Yeh this disc only concentrates on four albums...`Hot Space` , `The Works` , `A Kind Of Magic` and `The Miracle`. With this though you get the rare videos which I dont think have ever been released!! I mean , Im a huge Queen fan and I didnt even know they had a video for `Calling All Girls`!!

I got this disc from `Music Zone` today for £17 and its worth every penny! Only had a look on disc one and the sound is excellent! Havent got round to watching disc two yet but that has a total of three hours worth of footage!!

A superb set!

Got it for £12.99 from Big W yesterday. Sound is excellent so far (not had time to listen to it all yet), and loads of bonus material.

Only odd thing is that the Aspect Ratio in Radio Gaga switches between 4:3 & 16:9 (the bit with the handclapping is widescreen, the rest is full screen). Some people on the Queen forum (alt.music.queen) say that A Kind of Magic & The Invisible Man are in 4:3, but they fill my widescreen.

Can`t wait for GH3 next year, but would also love to some DVDs of older concerts.

Cheers

I seem to remember that the original release of Ga Ga on video did this - and on Freddies `Great Pretender` when he revisited the studio sequence.

Fantastic DVD GHVII - Very intrigued to hear Brian say that he wanted to release a proper Highlander soundtrack with Michael Kamen`s orchestral pieces linked into Queens compositions and including New York, New York.

I`ve now played every bit of this DVD and it is fantastic indeed!

Makes me wonder though just about whats left for the `Greatest Hits 3` which no doubt will be available soon? I know that they can release the videos from the `Innuendo` and `Made in Heaven` albums plus the single `No-one but you` but thats only about 10 songs! How about releasing the full performance from the Live Aid gig in `85? This is the performance that Bob Geldof himself said was the best by a mile on the day! Cant believe that their performance has never seen the light of day in its entirity! Just hope they dont fill it up with footage of Brian , Roger and John with George Michael and horror of horrors 5ive!!!!!

Also , Brians `Driven by you` is included in the `Greatest Hits 3` CD.....but isnt that a solo effort???? If thats included they may as well put his duet with Anita Dobson in also!

Its a far cry from the first `Greatest Hits` package!!!!! :/

A Kind of Magic has been mastered incorrectly.Despite other 4:3 videos either presented as 4:3 switched back from 16:9,or left in 16:9 and shown with side borders,AKOM is left in 16:9,but is stretched out.A manual switch back to 4:3 restores the correct dimensions. What a cock up.What fantastic sound.A great 5.1 exclusive for us DTS owners. But why no Dolby alternative?

Andy - remember the Greatest Hits 3 cd was made up from other solo stuff as well (Freddie`s "Barcelona", "Living On My Own", "The Great Pretender" etc) plus the stuff with Elton John and George Michael (it was by "Queen +" after all!).

Has anybody heard what will be on the Vol.3 DVD release? Apart from the "Innuendo" stuff, "No-one But You" single and maybe a few of Brian`s videos, everything else has already been released on DVD ("Made In Heaven The Films" and "Freddie Mercury Solo"). If it`s going to be another double-disc set, there seems to be a lot of space to fill!? (I would LOVE the Live Aid set to be included too!). :D
