Can anyone recommend any good horse based DVD films (other than Black Beauty and National Velvet), suitable for an 11 year old girl ?

A Man called Horse

I have [disctitle]Spirit : Stallion of the cimmarron[/disctitle] on dvd. Its a well animated movie from Dreamworks. Voiced by Matt Damon and contains lots of good music by Bryan Adams
If she likes horses, Im sure she will enjoy this. Its an excellent dvd with a decent set of extras too. You can pick it up for less than a tenner.
