Please could someone shed light on whether or not Evil Dead 2 collectors edition will be released in the u.k, i know the sub standard no extra disc is out but has been since deleted. it must be released!!!!

Good news my friend !
There is an extremely good Special Edition version of Evil Dead 2 ( and Evil dead ) out in the US. It includes a new anamorphic transfer, 5.1 sound and a featurette. AND ITS A REGION 0 TITLE !!!!!! Meaning it will play on all players. Go to amazon.com and order it, and dont be put-off by the fact that it says it`s region 2, its not. I have a copy and it works perfectly. And no, I dont have a multi-region player.

THANKS ALOT THAT IS POSSIBLY THE BEST NEWS I HAVE HEARD THE ONLY QUESTION I HAVE WAS IS THIS THE EDITION IN A SILVER TIN I SAW AT A SHOP 1 TIME OR ANOTHER VERSION!

Erm, to behonest, im not sure.
Although, if you look on amazon, there is a Limited Edition tin-set which includes a booklet, and replication of the original poster. Alhtough this will cost you a tiny bit more

I don`t reckon the tin`s worth the extra money, you get a booklet with a fangora article about the movie and nothing extra on the disc. The film`s class though.

Hi m8 get the Box set it`s not rated m8 and is a brill film there is plenty on the disk m8 like biteing the squirrls head of .
