It is a cult classic, it is totaly funny and excellent.

It is supposed to be a comedy, I haven`t seen any more Stephen Chow films, but I have heard they are funny.

The subs make me cry. They are some of the worst ive have ever seen but, as you say, it all adds to the effect.

constantly telling people to "kick the soccer" and the baldy insisting he is "Blad" are just great.

And the shaolin is great song is just a killer.

I think it`s great and, yes, the subs are unintentionally brilliant.

-"Can I touch your golden leg?"
- "I`m not in the mood. Go on, then!"

"It was you who accepted the dishonour check!" (bribe)

"Fit!"

Classic stuff. I feel sorry for the Yanks who are getting a heavily cut, dubbed version. Without these subs, they`re missing out big time.

Cheers,
CDP

The 82-min dubbed cut recently bombed at test screenings, so it may be getting a release in its original Cantonese after all, with cuts reinstated.
