I dont think Shanghai Knights has a release date for R2 yet. Its available on R1 (also R4 coded) and R3 only now. If you have a multi-region player get you could get the R1 version from CD-WOW or any other R1 site

I found this movie quite disappointing, especially the first half. The choice of soundtrack in some of the scenes is so bad it completely ruins the movie in places. Which is a real shame as I love Jackies movies.

thanx, i cant remember much of the soundtrack, i didnt really pay attention much to it. its not exactly the most important aspect of a Chan film to me, lol. but i found the fights some of his best and definately his best 1 from a American film.

it shore is takin its sweet bloody time to come out. i remember reading this was due to rent in early august i thought it was wrong but i didnt want to wait till september!

well the scenes that jumped to mind were the pillow fight and the umbrella. I can see why they played "singing in the rain" but it just didnt fit the movie. And as there is no dialogue during the fight I find the music very noticeable.

Jackie was ok, but Owen Wilson was so much better then him in this and in noon. He`s the best comedic actor in the world today. Period. I can`t wait to see him in Starsky & Hutch.

I thought the film was hilarious. :D
