Page 1 of Die Another Day

Just watched Die Another Day, 2 disc special and at certain points in the movie the "multi angle" logo came up in the corner of the screen. Just ignored it but went back at the end to try it. My DVD player wouldn`t let me change the angle. Put disc in bedroom player and at no point does the multi angle logo appear. ANyone have any ideas why it woudl on my main player?
Were you sitting on the remote? ;-)

Why would that caus the multi angle symbol to come up?
This could be to do with the way the "MI6 datastream" track has been encoded on the disc - I didn`t look closely at the technicalities of it, but it may be something related to that triggering multi angles to show the mini-featurettes.
There are definitely multi-angle features on disc 2 which require the use of the multi-angle button.

I have just seen die another day on dvd, I have to honestly say it is a pile of crap.
I cannot beleive that the special effects that exist today were not used in the movie, Extremely poor.
Dont bother with the extras as the are made redundant by the movie.
Totally agree, the helicopter scene at the end, bearing in mind visual standards set by Pearl Harbor and Titanic, was terrible. It was so obviosuly being shaken in front of a screen.
But you`re wrong. They DID chuck Pierce Brosnan and Halle Berry out of a plane in a helicopter. Brosnan was just lucky he got the bloody thing working ;-)

Yeah - whatever
Now how would Comic Book Guy put it? - Worst Bond film ever!
This did start out as a thread about multi-angles on the disc, not a bash-Brosnan thread.
AFAIK, the multi-angle flag kicks in wherever there`s a seamless-branching behind the scenes clip. It`s common for certain controls to be disabled by the disc (ever tried calling up the menu from a copyright card? - can`t be done), so your angle button doesn`t work. Try running the disc with the trivia track active.
And in my opinion, Die Another Day is a better Bond flick than *some* titles I can mention.
