I was in MVC today and saw a Road To Perdition Box Set which had an MVC exclusive label on it. Can anybody tell me what you actually get with this as the box didn`t. It is almost identical to the normal version, with the eaception that under the special feautures the audio commentary with Sam Mendes isn`t listed for the box set. Could someone shed some light on this please?
Cheers,
Paul
Dont know about the difference in content but the MVC website is selling it for £17 and the RRP is £22. Play.com have it for £12:99 and the RRP is £17:99.
I got the exclusive Road To Perdition box set from MVC and it comes with a copy of the graphic novel upon which the screenplay is based - which isn`t bad for an extra couple of quid! The DVD itself is no different from the standard one available. The decision will probably depend on how much you like the film and if you`re interested in it`s source material. Personally I thought the movie was very good but Mendes’ debut, American Beauty, was better.
Splash have it at £9.99 in their £2 off everything sale at the moment - finishes on Saturday I think. Yes, I know splash can be slow, but I`ve had no probs with them in the past.
