Blackadder Goes Forth - Why the overdub?

During the second episode of this series, Corporal Punishment, the audio is very poorly overdubbed when Blackadder mentions the name of his lawyer: Bob Massingbird. Does anyone know why?

Just watched the scene in question, and you`re absolutely right. He has been overdubbed, but it`s weird as he obviously isn`t saying `Massingbird`, even though that`s the actual name of his lawyer. (he refers to him by name several times in the same scene)

I can only assume that even though Rowan got the words wrong, his facial expression and demeanour was exactly what was required for the scene. They probably just did an over-dub to save tape. (Blackadder was always filmed on a very tight budget)

I`ve always wondered what Dennis Hopper actually says in Speed, when he says "Ok, but I want you back real fast" he actually mouths something else. any ideas?
