I notice that on the forum of the aldi pc for 699 there is no mention of what speed the cd rom drive is also i was wondering if anyone could tell me when these pcs are going on sale and i was just wondering could you hook a vcr up to one of these pcs

Yes it has a Modem
You can connect a video to it, You can connect almost anything to it.

On the Old PC, It`s a Sony CD Re Writer not sure on the exact modal and an unbranded drive which seems to be an Artec one. (Multi Region hackable if it is).
