In the sale (at South Shields anyway) were
Hannibal 9.99
Armageddon 7.99
Shawshank 4.99
East is East 4.99
amongst others.

Picked up a couple yesterday - The Grinch & Josie and the Pussycats.
Thing is, when they were scanned in it came up as a multibuy deal - get the cheapest one free. So, the total for both DVDs only came to £9.99 (The Grinch`s price).
Don`t know if this`ll apply everywhere, but it may be worth finding out - you can always change your mind at the counter if the offer doesn`t come up...

I`ve been eyeing up the Royle Family full series DVD`s, each for £9.99

and Monty Python`s - Life of Brian for £7.99, or maybe not as I`ve noticed it`s not the widescreen version.

My local Woolworths has only a limited selection of these cheap DVD`s, but their full list of sale DVD`s is at http://www.woolworths.co.uk P&P is £1.50
