Some reviews can be read here:

They don`t seem very impressed with it. But for the price maybe it`s OK

The reviews were for the camera priced at £175 (approx)

What are peoples views, I am not a rich man but want a digital camera with lcd screen.

Anyone seen anything better for about the same price?

Shaun

It depends on what you want it for?

1.3 million and its only any good for e-mail and small photo prints

Over 2 million and its ok for 6 x 4 prints

Over 3 million and its good for full A4 prints.

I am not sure if this is true, but you need 3 miilion to get the same quality as 35 mm.

I have the Kodak 3700 with 3.1 million and I would agree

I would recomend a Fuji as I have the Fuji Finepix 4.0i. I believe the true pixels are over 2 million but it is supposed to be equall to 4 million. I first saw the pictures from a student who had one & I loaded them onto my computer, I have one now. The picture & colour are fantastic. I can zoom in a great deal before pixalation starts. I have a couple of 35 MM camera`s & I would say the Fuji I have is a lot better. My friend has a Cannon & that is equally as impresive. It seems a shame the Olympus is out of stock as it was a very good camera. I think anything over 2 million would be good enough for most people. I would not chance under 2 million unless I could see the results.

The quality of the pictures obviously depends not only on the pixel count but also on the quality of the lenses.
http://www.dpreview.com/ is a great site for finding out what the people who bought the camera actually think of it, whereas http://www.megapixel.net/ gives in depth reviews from the critics.

I am impressed with the quality, what do you think?

I think the picture was impresive. These digital camera`s have certainly come a long way. Seems a very good buy to me
