Yeah noticed you can get Romeo and Juliet in that deal as well. The box set of Moulin Rouge & Romeo and Juliet is £29.99 why buy that when you can get the 2 seperately for £25???

Which is bloody annoying as I popped into a Smith`s in Hammersmith this afternoon and both films were priced at 18.99, neither of which was in the 2 for 25 offer. Are they just doing this in certain stores?

WooHaaSmith`s in Kingston had a pair of costumes actually worn in the Moulin Rouge film. I haven`t seen the film so it didn`t mean much, but someone might be interested.

Same here. No offer in Bletchley, but it IS in the Milton Keynes store, and other larger stores, so the kind lady in WHS Bletch told me.

Been trawling around the larger Smiths in London (including the `flagship` store in Brent Cross) and they all told me that the SE Romeo and Juliet was not actually in the 2 for 25 quid offer. The incredibly helpful assistant in the Oxford Street branch called Bletchley (both versions) and Milton Keynes and they all agreed. Finally called up the Sales Team themselves and they confirmed it must have been a one off sticker error. So good luck to whoever got it. Still bought it with `The Commitments` though:-)

Sorry Alan but sticker error or not i still bought Moulin Rouge and Planet Of The Apes 2001 for £25 this morning in WH smith in Scarborough> They also had Romeo+Juliet SE and a few others in the same promo.

I`ve been misinformed by Smiths apparently...so apologies for spreading rumours. Some outlets havent been kept up to date with the latest offers, or assumed that only one `big` film is on this offer at any one time. I`ll sort it out tomorrow :-). Moulin Rough / R & J and Planet of the Apes are all supposed to be in the offer.
