Just in case anyone is in need of a sound system for their dvd, PC world is selling a Packard Bell Theatre 500 5.1 Multi Media Speaker System for £59.99 down from £119.99.
Spec is as follows: 6 piece multi media speakers, Compatible with AC-3,DTS & THX, Sub Woofer 16 watts RMS. Satellites 8.5 Watts RMS, Dynamic Bass Boost, Suitable for PC or DVD Players.
I have mine connected to a Yelo 800 and it makes one hell of a difference...... I think there is only a couple of days left at this price.

I bought mine Sunday 3.30pm and they had loads of stock, but that was at North Shields, Silverlink branch.....Yes they are on the web www.pcworld.co.uk that`s where I saw the initial advert and went to my local branch for a peep..

It sounds Awesome!!!!!!!!!!! You can now listen to a DVD at its best.

does it have optical input etc could i connect the suc to my av amp??

The only input and output sockets are phono x6 both in and out......

So the question is are thay worth the money? And do thay Really sound that good.


Still at that price its worth a gamble......

Just so I get this right guys , this is just a speaker set with no amplification built in at all , right ?
