If you do not already subscribe to lovefilms dvd rental service you can get this boxset free as long as you have a 30 day free trial, you can cancel if you do not want it to carry on (I`m going to see how they go as my tesco one has become a bit naff they`ve never sent me a new release until at least 2 months after they`ve been released and its beginning to annoy me now,once in a while would be ok).
Just type in this code in the 14 day free trial box (it changes to 30)

You`re right I forgot tesco is lovefilm now. found out as well if they run out of stock of the life on mars boxsets you get a £9.99 voucher instead to spend at lovefilm

Via Guardian Unlimited you get a free portable dvd player if you subscribe. Seems a bargain.
