Page 1 of Currys Home cinema theatre kit for less than £100 Boxing day only

Okay whilst staying up watching t.v on XMAS Day i saw an add for a one day only sale offer at Currys for i think it was a dvd player plus home theatre kit for £99.99. I dont know any more details as the ad was over quickly and as they do blast offers in your face before youcan find out more. This is a one day Boxing day sale offer, so if it is true then for less than a ton its a bargain. If anyone knows anymore details ir make etc.. then feel free to post.

Its the Grundig DVD - Home Theatre kit which normally sells for £199, I think the model number is 620 and I believe it is similar to the Goodmans Home Theatre kit that also sells for £199.

The Goodmans is multi-region with a remote hack.

For more details on either I would check the hardware or hack forum.

There have been a few complaints that the sub fails to function correctly, but I think £99 for a surround speaker set up PLUS a DVD player is too good a bargain to miss, especially for the kids` bedroom - go for it !

Just been at Curry`s Apparently there was a queue a mile long, and all systems were sold out by 9:30 am.

Mmmmmm, I did see this deal on TV yesterday, Cant go wrong for £99. But as usual I bet thay only had a handfull in stock! Abit like Aldi and there DVD player offer.

All sold out in 5 minutes in the Doncaster store. Not a hope of getting one. Just an empty pallet when I arrived at 10am!

I managed to get one Thurrock Lakeside store .Mind you manager turned up 30 mins(9.30 instead of 9.00) late kept about 40 peps waiting in the freezing cold .they had about 20 dvds all sold within 5mins. I can see what someone said about sub woofer cant really hear it that well..

And to think, on boxing day it was a year to the day that I bought the Grundig 520 home theatre kit for £450. Still paying it off too.

Damn them all to hell.

I was at the store at 7 AM. (They only had 5 so it was a good job.) System is very good. Region hack macro disable and it plays MP3s written on CD R/W. My subwoofer is OK but I habe positioned it about 10 ft from the TV.
