The deal comes up online but doesn`t give the above price when the 4 items are added. reserve it online and nip into the store for collection as the deal is instore only.
P.S the deal is also working with PES 2008 or PGR4 as the second game, Halo 3 being the first obviously.

Is this the `old` version? i.e the one which is prone to overheating
I was told to avoid this version and go for the newer one with HDMI port, does anyone know anything about this ?

People have been receiving both mate. Check the box they bring down for the HDMI Logo, if it`s not there, decline the "old stock" console and get it swapped for the new version.

did just that today...
managed to convince two workmates that they needed the 360 bundle. off we go to argos to collect and when we got back, one of the lads opened up the box to find the HDMI version....out of the 3 mine was the only one without HDMI :( with a manufacture date of 6/10/2006!!!
took the console to another argos on the way home and swapped it for a spanking new HDMI (Aug 2007) version.
sorted.

the manufacture date is on the back of the console, not the box.
a quick way to check is to see if the back of the box has the HDMI logo...if it does you`re guaranteed a late 2007 console. If not, then you`ve possibly got an old console.

Picked one up today and it is the HDMI version, manufactured August 07, so well happy.
Also gone for the £100 LCD TV in the other thread, so I`ll be well pleased if that comes off and end up with a 360 HD set up for £350 all in !!
