I looked at that and then honestly thought "Why would I want that even at sixteen quid?"

And those who dance will spin and turn,
And those who wait will wait no more,
And those who talk will hear the words,
And those who see will fade and die,
And those who laugh will surely fall,
And those who know will always feel their backs against the thin wall...

To be honest, if you like the original, the new transfer of `The Matrix` is almost worth 16 quid on its own.

It looks supah doopah.

Can you not just get the original by itself in the new superdooper transfer? Would rather not take up any more bookshelf space with wasted discs...

Not only that, but that version is still missing the headbutts so it could get a 15 instead of an 18, but recently the BBFC have waived all cuts, so I don`t know if Warner has any plans to re-re-re-release it again.

Yeah but how long is that gonna take? Plus you`ll need the kit to play it.

I agree with Nick, the transfer is awesome, definitely one of the best I`ve seen on DVD, I was amazed when I watched it, especially if you compare it to the original dvd release

Although it looks nothing like the theatrical release, it`s still very nice. They`ve basically made it look closer to the sequels. For the money this is a very good purchase. It`s a great set and the AV on the films is excellent. If you like all three it`s well worth the money (although it has been available at this price and cheaper a number of times before).
