True. Rather have big telly and no Freeview tho. Rather have the 60" monster I saw in Costco actually, but don`t have £2000 to spend :(

Don`t forget to add the vat on telly from Makro. (sorry realised first poster already mentioned that)

Last time I ever got a big electrical item from them (a few years back), had nothing but trouble trying to return it or get it fixed, decided not to get big electrical items from them in future.

Actually, if it`s the big Sammy then it`s a DLP, one of the few remaining models you can still get here in the uk.

Stunning piccie quality when set up right but as usual, Costco set it up directly in front of the main entrance on the floor...never a good place to retail a telly Lol.

DLP telly`s have a much wider viewing angle than old style Rear-Pro so what ya gotta do is bend down a little to look at it, you wouldn`t stand up in the same position at home to watch the telly as when you walk into Costco.

My local Costco also had the great insight to run it on an ariel connection with all the plasma/LCDs on scarts or HDMI splitters...

Anywhoo...nice telly but aye...wee bit less brightness than an equivalent LCD/Plasma but hence the price diff.
(and don`t forget the Costco 3 year guarantee...no hassles when ya buy in there!)
