The Virgin sale starts tomorrow at 8 AM. Some limited boxsets are on offer for the first customers.
Their leaflet shows, among others, The Godfather, Lord of the Rings Trilogy, The Pink Panther and Band of Brothers - all boxsets at £5!
It also says that there are a limited number of stores participating, mostly in London.

Good luck!

Yeah, they probably sold 1 at that price.
Went to the Virgin on Bishopsgate and they had nothing going that cheaply.

All rubbish at my local. Even HMV is better than Virgin these days.

On a lot of the usual websites there are people exploding with rage after queing all night only to see the sales staff sell all their cheap 360s to people in Virgin Staff T-Shirts. Apparently, before opening, someone heard a sales monkey on the blower to his girlfriend telling her to come down so he could give her one of the cheap 360 vouchers as it was one per customer and he wanted a couple.

Surely there must be a law against that sort of thing, Isn`t that classed as false advertising if none were ever available to the public ?.

Makes me laugh when people que outside all night to get bargains like a few boxsets, surely they would be better going to a temp agency and doing a night shift on time and a half, because hardly any people ever end up with any of the "real" bargains.

This is probably the most intelligent comment I have ever seen on these forums!

Virgin Sale have always been crap. Their sales items are more expensive than other retailers, they spend all their money promoting their sales with alleged £99 xboxes but in truth these items are about as rare as a winning lottery ticket and always get reserved for the staffs family and friends.
