Always nice to meet a fellow fan - the boxed 3-CD set is £11.99, well worth it : a lot of their old stuff from 1977-1980 - ish, tracks from first few albums (which are still hanging around in my loft !) - had it on the bus today - fantastic stuff ("Rowche Rumble" - man...).

There`s also some rare live stuff too (eg Acklam Hall, etc). It`s called Psykick Dancehall : the quality of the Step Forward stuff is actually ten times better than the vinyl - hard to believe but true !

Go to it !

PS - do you get called "curmudgeonly" at work - I do ! Wonder where I get it from.... ;-)

Saw them at Reading years ago, and Mr Smith stomped on (after all the band had been on for a good 10 minutes), with his plastic bag full of lyrics, up to the wooden church-style lectern, dumped the miscellaneous scribblings on to it and started to rant.... marvellous.
Mind you that was the first time I saw Nick Cave too - fantastic live performer - we wondered what we were in for when the roadies started bolting the front stage monitors down - didn`t disappoint.
EDIT - yes, I suppose I was thought of as a bit of a "bah humbug" type at work..... I`m working from home, now, so no-one to grump at!
