I`ve got a top cheap TV (from Asda) and it`s great, but I`ve made a major error - I`ve done something and now it`s prompting me for a code on the TV - Any assistance is appreciated..... Not helped by the fact that I`ve lost my manual of course....

Hi James, you PM`d me eariler, I`m affraid the TV we got my brother is the PTV55 not the STT2021, and the manaul has long since been thrown out.
I did a bit of a search but this was the best I could find.
Sorry couldn`t help further
Perhaps Asda could give you Pacific`s contact details and they could post you a manual.

Hi Mr Tiger,
I would suggest taking it back to the store and asking them for a replacement they will advise you that you should have telephoned the number on the receipt to organise a replacement, however I carried a 28 inch TV back into our local Asda and they gave me a brand knew. The price had also dropped by £20 and they gave us the difference in price so we got a brand new TV and £20 back, you just act daft they wont send you packing if you have made the effort to carry it to the store. They are one of the best places to resolve issues like this without any quibbling, don't mention how it happened just say its developed a fault, I don't work for them but bulls*** baffles brains.

Thanks Rab C - That`s my next plan, but that involves lugging the TV down there. The manager`s been helpful and is willing to do just that, but if I can avoid the heavy work, I will!!

Had same problem and luckily found the manual !!!!
Solution : press "pp" button on the handset 3 times. When TV comes on go into menu and turn off the lock.
