Page 1 of Avious recordable DVD player £39.99 - Superdrug

Hi all, the title says it all. I just went into Superdrugs and saw the Avious recordable dvd player (model DRW--1029) for £39.99 so picked it up

Thought it`d be rude not to.

I want one!
To save anyone else who lives in my area the bother,I rang Camberley,Farnborough,Guildford & Basingstoke...none in stock.And the last 2 are the biggest in the area,the smaller stores are unlikely to have had any in the first place.

Went to my local Superdrug today, they had lots in stock but scanned up as £80.00...
Must be a regional thing

Am interested to see what the build quality on this is like. £39.99 is certainly a breakthrough price...

well none of the twenty stores in what was my old area (when i was a superdrug manager) have any in stock, nor do any of the managers know anything about this offer?

Not a mischief maker! I can scan you in the reciept if you like lol. Perhaps it was just ex display or something?

Incidentally though, A woman who works with me that bought one too took hers back yesterday for some reason and I`ve had a few problems (although not really enough to warrant taking it back for that price.
