Not a bad idea but surely its easier just to sell on ebay.
Also, I just tested their valuation and they offered £21 for a phone I am currently selling which I know will fetch £30-£35 on ebay and I know I will receive the funds before sending the phone :(

Has anyone used this site so far, are they recommended?
Thing i dont understand, they are offering me more money for my Samsung P400 (2yrs old) than my Sony Ericsson K750i which is 2months old!

Another site that offers cash for old mobile phones: http://www.mopay.co.uk They seem to accept some older models which envirofone doesn`t. I haven`t tried any of these companies. Would appreciate any feedback. I guess some phones will be worth more on e-bay or even at your local car boot sale (I`ve sold some there). At any rate, it`s got to be better than throwing them in landfill!

Thanks to original poster - went to both sites and the top one looks far more proffesional - sold my sons phone which he has been nagging me to sell but declined to sell on ebay because no box or software - made more than I paid from amazon 16 months ago (although I did get a good deal due to a link from this site). 48 squid for a well used nokia - think its the 7600 (pear shaped ugly thing) - it made it easy i had just to click on the picture of it. Decided to go for the argos card so son can just pick something new. Will let u all know if it works out ok.
